In the beginning of our therapeutic relationship, it will likely make sense to meet weekly or bi-weekly to become comfortable and to gain some momentum. Sustainable change and growth will take time to discover and practice. We can meet less frequently as you start to notice progress and eventually stop meeting until (or if) you need support again. We will have consistent check-ins throughout our work together to ensure we are on the right track.

Registered Psychotherapists (RPs) are covered under most health plans. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Licence # 19451. Once payment is received via e-transfer or credit card, you will receive a receipt by email that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I encourage clients to check with their insurance providers to determine their coverage details. I do not provide direct billing at this time.

I will never discuss you or your personal information with anyone. While I consistently seek my own Supervisors for support with my practice, I do not ever use names or identifying information when discussing my work with clients.

I get it: life happens and we cannot control when there is sudden illness or a personal emergency, so I encourage all my clients to reach out to me if life gets in the way of making our session. My current cancellation policy states that appointments cancelled within 24 hours may be charged the full rate, as well as No-shows may also be charged the full rate. Should issues with scheduling become a pattern, we will have a brief conversation about what’s getting in the way of working together effectively.
